The Learning Center

The Learning Center The Learning Center at Byrd Polar Research Center is an outreach program aimed at promoting science and technology in the classroom. The center is open to all educators (present and future), graduate assistants, and scientists who wish to incorporate technology into their presentations.

The Learning Center is equipped with various pieces of equipment which are listed below. The Learning Center offers a comfortable work area for educators and scientists who wish to use the facilities. The room provides wireless connection to the Internet, workspace for individuals or groups, and comfortable surroundings. A microwave oven and coffeemakers are also available, and you are encouraged to bring your lunch.
